Esa es mi visión del Carnaval de Barranquilla en Barcelona de 2007. Por primera vez y muy en serio, todos estábamos convencidos que podíamos hacer cosas grandes si uníamos nuestras fuerzas. El resultado fue evidente: un vestuario de lujo, una coreografía ensayada, todos los integrantes inscritos, una furgoneta decorada, diseñada y trabajada por todos, registros en prensa, radio, televisión, de aquí y de allá. Este año las correndillas fueron sólo las justas, esta participación nos deja un blog que- en tres meses- tiene más de 13.000 visitas, una imagen corporativa que impacta por su calidad, socios dispuestos a colaborar…risas, y miles de imágenes dignas de enmarcar.
Por todo esto, mi experiencia como representante de estas fiestas fue indescriptible. "Quien lo iba a decir", me dice mi mamá, "tu siempre decías que querías participar en una comparsa y, mira, fue en Barcelona donde lo hiciste". Imagínense, si esa era mi ilusión, lo que significo para mí ser la Reina del Carnaval de Barranquilla en Barcelona de este inolvidable 2007.
GRACIAS a TODOS por dejar tan alto el nombre de nuestra Curramba y confiar en mi regalándome un recuerdo que siempre llevaré en mi corazón.
